Once again it’s Monday and time for Strawberry Singh’s blog meme. I skipped last week, while I really enjoyed the movie posters I couldn’t for the life of me think of a single movie, so I set that one aside.  This week is much easier, she asks us 10 Weird Questions 😀  Make a copy of the questions and post your answers, then dash over to Strawberry’s blog and leave your URL in the comments so we can all check it out!

I love love, love question and answer sessions, I’ll happily fill them out all day. Posting a list of questions and having people ask you to answer the ones of their choice, or just posting long “get to know me” Q&As is a common thing on Tumblr.  For various reasons I’ve just not been doing it over there in a long time, so I’m always excited when a question and answer challenge pops up here!  There have been a few times I was tempted to pull some of those Q&A posts over here, but it’s more fun to see what people come up with in the blog challenges.

As you can probably guess the pics have nothing to do with weird questions, or questions of any sort, but I dropped by my treadmill the other day and thought I’d get in a bit of a workout in the meantime.

1. Which was the last sim you visited? (Other than your home)
Cerridwens Cauldron. Okay, technically that was my faerie alt, so I guess the last thing I, as Ravensong, visited was Lea11 to get in some treadmill exercise.

2. Does your avatar look like the real you?
I’m not sure, really, I don’t think I can be objective.  I’ve actually tried to adjust her face and features to be as close to real life me as I could get,  but that sort of detail isn’t really possible without custom skins. And also, she’s probably a good fifteen or twenty years younger than me and much slimmer, so there’s that difference.  I often do try to keep her hair a similar color to mine, and if I find hairstyles that look like my RL one I buy them. I guess she is sort of the wishful thinking, idealized version of me.

3. Do you wear underwear/panties underneath your clothing when out and about on the grid?
Usually not. If I do it’s because something I’m wearing needed extra coverage.  I have only ever bought a couple sets of lingerie since I joined SL, and that was mostly because I thought they were pretty, or nicely textured.

4. If you won a million linden dollars, what would be the first thing you buy inworld?
Ideally I’d just cash it out and put the money to RL use. But I’ll assume that it has to stay in SL for this question.  That’s a little over 4000 US… my first thought was to buy a sim but maybe I’ll just rent a homestead and see how long I can stretch the funds out after I do all my landscaping 😀

5. Have you ever bought something in SL and then realized afterwards that you had already owned it from before?
I do this in RL, annoyingly enough.  Usually this isn’t a problem in SL.  I am more likely to try to buy things on the marketplace using whichever account has the most Lindens at the time, and have it sent as a gift to the wrong alt, so I have to buy it again for the right one.

6. Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life?
Oh, trespassing for sure.  And I suspect the RL equivalent of camming through people’s houses to see how they decorate would be frowned upon. *whistles innocently*  That’s actually pretty much it, I don’t get out much.

7. If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be?
LOL… I’ve never been a part of the SL romance scene, so I’ve never considered dating anybody.

8. Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive?
Well, I guess if it wasn’t for Philip Linden none of us would be here now.

9. What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done inworld?
Not paying attention to what I’m doing, and accidentally re-texturing  things that belong to other people who have given me rights to edit their prims. *deep blush*

10. If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you?
Stop tweaking my appearance! I look fine! And let me leave the skybox one in a while. And we need more shoes.

There, I’m getting her some exercise! She should be  happy now 😀
