Last weekend we decided it was necessary to go on a building and redecorating spree. It started innocently enough, I couldn’t resist the Autumn Cottage from Trompe Loeil at Collabor88 because it was so cute, and I wanted to set it out and decorate it for the season. Then I wanted to put some trees around it, and my hub went on a landscape products shopping spree of his own and swapped out our old floating island for some new ones, and more trees… suddenly we were decorating an entirely new home. Now I am absolutely in love with this house and our whole little area here and I have to show it off!

The hub decided that we needed a garden as well. Low maintenance instagardens are the best!

I’m not sure about the assistant gardeners though. They seem more interested in chirping and looking around than in tending to the plants.

By the time we were done with the exterior I had to move everything out of our skybox and just set up housekeeping in the new place, and get everything ready for Halloween.

All the pics, incidentally, have no processing or filtering done except cropping and an outline border. I was having particularly happy times with my windlight experiments. 😀

Although the interior was really nice, I did end up doing some remodeling and additions to fit our stuff, as I tend to do. (Probably to the horror of content creators… I admit that I used ancient library freebie textures for my carpeting and kitchen floor…) The Ashdon living room set is also from Trompe Loeil, available at the current Fameshed, and is really lovely and comfy looking. The whole thing feels so warm and cozy. Seriously, how do we go about uploading ourselves into this house right now? This needs to be a thing.

Oh well, at least I can enjoy the virtual comfort.  I am now completely broke but deliriously happy. 😀
