Strawberry Singh challenged everyone to write a Haiku about our Second Life… I don’t think I’ve tried writing a haiku since, oh, college, probably. Write a Haiku did come in handy for this.
I have no idea why the first thing that popped into my mind was my inventory. Or, rather, a prominent section of my inventory. I haven’t been in world too much this week whilst Firestorm and I struggle to get along after the latest update, so no cute pics to go along with this, but I present my haiku, with it’s inspiration.

It was a pretty bottle, I thought it might look nice sitting out on the mantel, and maybe serve as a conversation piece. But even though I knew it wasn’t a magic bottle I still had to rub it. I haven’t been blogging Second Life for very long at all, so these probably will be more relevant to my primary Tumblr blog, which is my main focus and not SL related at all (well, sometimes I cross post). But interesting questions! For once I’m typing mine up before I follow the comment links, so I’m looking forward to seeing the other answers.

Today I’ve just been enjoying my little office and feeling cute, which is, of course, my main purpose in SL 😀
But meanwhile, today’s blog meme is about names. This will be an easy one to answer, at the same time this one that reminds me that I’ve never fully bonded with my avatar’s name… or rather, I like it but I soon realized that it’s not as uncommon as I’d like. I always envied the people who came up with the creative names, the ones who managed to get a really cool play on words, or the ones that were just really unique and beautiful. (more…)

So there I was, just a few days old and totally stylin with my wings and my chipper expression and my lovely green system hair. I was so proud of having changed the textures on my clothes. Clearly I had yet to hit the mainland and realize just what shopping would mean to me.
